Occupants who are not owners

We have made a change to the FHIL Application Forms requesting the names of occupants, or prospective occupants, who are not owners of the property.   Any people so named will be asked to sign a letter acknowledging the terms of the loan and the receipt of their acknowledgement will be a condition of the loan.

Please download the new application forms (v2.4 2015) and destroy any old application forms you still hold.

There has also been a small addition to clause 8.2 on page 11 of the Procedures & Compliance Manual which reads, “If the signed acknowledgement letter(s) have not been received before the Mortgage Offer is issued, ensure there is a clause in the Special Conditions stating that the Offer is conditional upon them being received.”
